Board bottoms, explained

Every board shape the catalog tracks, drawn in cross-section the way a maker would sketch it.

Hover over or tap a feature or its name to see what it does. Depths are exaggerated; how a board actually rides also depends on rocker, flex, outline and concave depth.

The centre

The shape of the bottom between the feet, drawn across the full width.

The ends

What the bottom does at the ends of the board: both tips on a twin tip, the tail on a directional. A diffusor is drawn next to the gentle concave it flattens into.
