Good strong pull with good acceleration even in light offshore wind condition. It has very good upwind performance and quick, precise bar feedback that tells you when to depower. Moving the steering lines makes it calmer and steadier for more drift, or more active and forward.
Overall a very good kite.
Snappier than the standard Neo, but still drifts like one
I also flew the standard Neo before, and this one is noticeable snappier and more direct on the bar than the Neo, without loosing the easy character of the original one. Low end is excellent, flying even earlier than the weight would suggest, and in my opinion a genuine ride-size-down kite even for heavier riders. Depower is smooth to fade in and out, while it still floats nicely on full depower rather than dropping out of the sky.
Strapless freestyle is surprisingly nice - the kite loads up predictably for strapless freestyle with a grunty kiteloop and soft, easy-to-spot landings.
It's also stable enough in light air to be a decent foil companion in lighter wind.
On the other end of the wind window I didn't feel so comfortable, flying it in overpowered conditions is no fun. But this can be expected from any other wave-kite.
